Installations
The Prefabrication Plant is located in Aspropyrgos, Attica, on a 36.000m2 property and on rented storage space of 15.000m2.
A total area of 5.000m2 covered production space and of 20.000m2 storage space for prefabrication finishings is available.
- The installed plant and equipment comprise:
- Prestressing bed 90,0m-long and 1,20m-wide.
- Production line for T-T slabs and predalles, 90,00m-long.
- 3 Nos. production lines of wall panels with an output of 300m2/day.
- 2 Nos. assembly units assembling prefabricated plane elements into cells (ready boxes).
- Production line and moulds for linear elements (shops, sheds).
- Production line for electric posts.
- Automated production line for sleepers, road works elements (manholes, channels, etc.) housed in a seperate area measuring 885m2.
- A great number of moulds for producing a variety of prefabricated products.
The production lines are supported by following ancillary equipment:
- 10 Nos. gantry cranes of various lifting capacities.
- 2 Nos. concrete pumps and 2 Nos. concrete transit mixers.
- 2 Nos. batching plants with automatic weighting and aggregate materials storage.
- Compressed air unit.
- 2 Nos. steam producing units for early curing of concrete.
- Laboratory for materials' quality control and testing of concrete strength complying with the Greek Code of Concrete Technology (ΚΤΣ-97) and with Code EN 206-1 of the Hellenic Organization for Standardization (EL.O.T.).
- Chamber for curing test specimens.
- Fully equipped machine shop.
- Fully equipped carpentry shop.
- Fully equipped vehicle maintenance and repair shop.
- Covered storage area 500m2.
- Administrative and auxiliary spaces, 300m2 (Offices, Mess Hall, Infirmary, Changing Rooms, Sanitation, etc.)
Indoor unit for cutting and forming of reinforcement bars, 1.000m2, complete with all M&E plant required, such as:
- Automatic machine for forming stirrups.
- Automatic machine for forming meshes.
- 2 Nos. bending machines.
- 2 Nos. electric shears, etc.
